Increase child/old age allowances

Child allowances and old age pension allowances will be increase by 30% in order that Britain can substantially reduce the 5 million children and senior citizens living in poverty and below the official bread line. In order to ensure the increased payments reaches children’s parents and senior citizens living in poverty - all payments will be subject to the basic rate of tax. We will investigate scrapping complex and expensive means testing tax credits and other means tested payments. We will also increase tax-free allowance to £11K to direct more income to children and senior citizens living in poverty. How can the poorest EU countries afford to pay earnings related pensions of over £200 per week. We will

let France and Germany help bail out EU countries who got themselves

into debt. We promise to spend our time looking at ways to reduce wherever possible the number of citizens living in poverty.
