Law and Prison Sentencing

Following discussion with legal bodies and prison services new legislation will be introduced requiring certain sentences to be served without remission. . Minimum 5 years for carrying a gun or knife and 10 years for any second conviction. To review all prison sentencing procedures and following consultation, to change the rules where sentences are served in full for murder, gun crimes. knife crimes, unprovoked violence and other criminal acts. To urgently set up boot camps for young offenders. To set up speedy new systems for anti social behaviour. To build specialist secure hospitals for prisoners who are mentally ill. Discussions will be held with Judges, senior police offices to make decisions on how police paperwork can be reduced by 80%. New substantial sentencing laws of 10 years will be introduced for people trafficking illegal immigrants and terrorists.
