Summary of Objectives and New British Laws Parliament will be open 365 days (even Christmas day) and the GB 1 year Party will work relentlessly to introduce new radical British Acts and amendments to existing laws. The new Laws or amendments summarised below will for the first time address the real needs of British people. (a) Increase child allowances and pensions by 30% to reduce child and senior citizens poverty. (b) Sign contracts to build 500,000 new dwellings and start a substantial house improvement programme for 500,000 dwellings to substantially reduce inadequate and overcrowded housing. (c) Employers will be given tax incentives to implement training programmes in order to reduce unemployment and youth unemployment. Funding will be directed at providing 300,000 new apprenticeship jobs in building and industrial service trades, mentoring and training for graduates and general training programmes for all other general jobs where skills are required. Employers will issue certificates for all training completed. (d) Introduce a fairer tax system by increasing tax-free allowance to £11K, review the expensive tax credit system and close tax loopholes requiring tax to be paid on all money earned in Britain. Child allowances to be taxed to fund increased allowances targeted to reduce poverty. Urgent discussions to reduce 50p tax level to previous level and other tax changes to prevent companies leaving Britain. (e) Introduce more affective justice and prison systems. Fast-track a new mental health secure prison building programme. Create small local prisons to enable non violent prisoners to serve sentences and maintain home contacts. Introduce boot camps and anti-social action programme. Ensure violent criminals serve their sentences. Rigorously enforce knife and gun carrying laws. Radically reform the paperwork requirements for Police to reduce office time. (f) Introduce amendments to treason corruption and bribery laws, (g) Introduce new British Human Rights and Immigration Acts. (h) Discussions will be held with head-teachers and teaching unions to fund new fast track English speaking and writing classes in schools for children whose first language is not English or where pupils need extra help reaching the required standards. To support social cohesion and confidence, all pupils will be required to reach a minimum prescribed standard in reading and writing before being allowed to leave school. (h) Rigorously pursue new trading contracts with commonwealth countries forbidden by the EU. (i) The UK will leave the EU without a referendum as the future prosperity for Britain can only be achieved by expanding our international financial markets and embracing new free-market capitalism links with expanding Asian economies, China, Australia, Africa and other eastern countries. The rigidity of the EU government and economy set up 60 years ago is now obsolete because it was set up for the betterment of no one but fabulously rich unelected EU politicians and bankers doing deals behind closed doors. New free trade agreement (the same as Switzerland with £98 Billion EU exports) will be agreed with our European friends. Currently the EU export to Britain goods valued at £230 Billion per year and only accepts goods from Britain valued at £180 Billion. (j) We will revive our farming industry with tax incentives to feed ourselves and open up new markets for cereal and frozen meat. (k) We will give encouragement with tax breaks to entrepreneurs and small businesses to revive our trading and manufacturing industry. (l) The House of Lords Appointment Commission will have a new title and a ŒDismissal CommissionŒ. The new Commission will have new fast track powers to dismiss MP¹s, strip titles from Peers, disqualify them from office and have provisions to make unlimited fines. (j) Parliamentary business will be run professionally at all times and scenes of shouting, waving and general mayhem will not be allowed. (K) Bonus payments for Government staff will be withdrawn - we do not believe anyone receiving salaries paid from government funds should be receiving a bonus. Government bonus payments are a fairly recent arrangement and have not improved the efficiency of government services. |
